Milla STORI

Milla Stori is an interior designer and artist known for a refined, architectural approach to modern living. Her work balances clean forms with warmth, art, and deeply personal details, creating spaces that feel contemporary, distinctive, and entirely their own. Her interiors and design perspective have been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decoration, and international design publications across Europe, North America, and Asia.

At the heart of her practice is the belief that an interior should be shaped around the people who live in it. Rather than designing around a standard idea of how a home should function, Milla begins with the rhythms, habits, and priorities of each family, translating the way they actually live into architecture, materials, lighting, furniture, and carefully considered details.

Art is a natural extension of her practice. Milla creates original illustrations and bespoke artworks, often translating personal stories, places, and memories into a contemporary visual language. Her work as an artist has also led to creative collaborations with Starbucks, Crate & Barrel, and Elle Decoration, for whom she created original illustrations. This artistic perspective carries into her interiors, where art becomes an integral part of the space rather than simply a decorative addition.

Her work also extends into furniture and product design, exploring the same ideas of form, proportion, and composition found throughout her interiors. Her furniture has been presented internationally at Salone del Mobile and Zona Tortona during Milan Design Week, Maison & Objet in Paris, Abitare il Tempo in Verona, and Scandicci Fiera in Florence, including projects presented by invitation from Giulio Cappellini and Elle Decoration. Her multidisciplinary practice has also included a pavilion designed for Elle Girl, alongside other editorial and creative projects.

Milla’s interiors are intentionally restrained but never impersonal. Every element has a reason to be there — architectural, functional, or emotional. The result is a highly considered approach to modern living: spaces that feel visually clear and current, yet warm, comfortable, and unmistakably personal.
